We will also commission your new system, ensuring that it is fully-integrated and functioning perfectly. We will also make sure that your team or your client’s team know how to operate it. Make the most of our expertise to ensure that your system is set up exactly as you want it.
Our alarm system commissioning process is robust and thorough. Before the system goes live, we will establish a commissioning schedule that involves testing and if necessary adjusting every aspect of the new system. This involves individual component testing, setting the system to work, then testing it in its entirety (“balancing”).
Once satisfied, we’ll hand over the operating manuals, cause-and-effect documentation, system drawings, and any training materials. We can also provide training for the system’s end-users (either your staff or your client’s employees). A safety or security system can’t work to its full potential if it’s not used correctly.
Be assured: we’ll never leave a project until we’re 100% satisfied that your safety systems are operating perfectly. Our competent commissioning engineers work to BS 5839 2017 standards, the code of practice that covers the design, installation, commission and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems. You can be confident in the professionalism of our team and the quality of our work.
